Our Season of Giving 2021 Recap

Our Season of Giving 2021 Recap

2021 was another unprecedented year as we adapted to a new normal, but we are so grateful to have a wonderful community. This year, we announced our first Season of Giving as we counted down to the holidays. It began in November and lasted through the end of the year. Each Octobo purchase made during that time helped provide opportunities to kids around the world!

Our Season of Giving campaign supported equity in global education. Our donations were made to organizations with missions of just that. Thinker-Tinker has donated a portion of our holiday sales to The Malala Fund, UNICEF, Crayons to Classrooms, and Save the Children.

We are so fortunate enough to contribute to these amazing organizations. The Malala Fund invests in education activists and advocates who are driving solutions to barriers to girls’ education in their communities. UNICEF’s mission is to provide quality education to kids around the world. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, UNICEF helped 301 million children continue their education via remote learning. Crayons to Classroom is a U.S. based nonprofit that works to secure and distribute school supplies at no cost to teachers of students in need. Save the Children works around the world to provide education with the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn.

We believe that education transforms lives and we are hopeful for a future where every child around the world has equal access to quality education. With the right tools, we believe learning can happen anywhere and education doesn’t require the construct of a classroom. Every child should have access to the tools needed to learn, collaborate, discover, and grow.

Thank you to all who were a part of our very first Season of Giving! We are lucky to be able to give back, especially during the holidays, and spread our mission. We can’t wait to see what 2022 brings and the opportunities that will be open to us to bring learning through play to more and more families.

Happy New Year! 🎉
